And then it rained

they put on their jewels

the leaves captured the world

the bark showed its patterns and colours

and the lichen showed off its best side

spring flowers soaked it all up

sepia and sap green became best friends 

frogs stayed hidden but we could hear their joy

the clouds get lower and try to sit in the valley below 

beautiful misty mountains  

my view hidden

colour palette ive come to adore

is that a walkers tissue wad?  please dont do that in my paradise
